Our History
CPM Payroll & HR was founded in January 1994 at the request of clients of our parent company, National Risk Services (NRS) — one of the largest premium audit firms in the Southeastern United States. With over 45 years of experience auditing payroll for insurance purposes, the founders of NRS understood payroll from the inside out. That deep expertise became the foundation of CPM.
What started as a response to client demand has grown into a trusted Florida-based payroll and HR partner serving small and mid-sized businesses across the state and nationwide. Our management team brings over 60 years of combined experience in payroll, human resources, and insurance — expertise we put to work for our clients every single day.
In 2017, CPM expanded its platform to deliver a fully integrated suite of employer services — including HR support, time and attendance, benefits administration, employee onboarding, applicant tracking, and employee self-service — all powered by isolved, one of the nation's most widely adopted payroll and HR platforms.
